upper Elementary academic assistant
full-time (2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR)
OLMS is seeking a full-time Upper Elementary Academic Assistant to serve students in grades 3-8. Daily routines will include in-classroom support to facilitate student learning, pull-out tutoring sessions in key academic areas for small groups and individuals, and coordination with the Lead Guides to ensure student success. Applicants should have experience working with children of various ages, the ability to multi-task in a busy classroom environment, and an organized approach to lesson preparation. We are looking for a candidate with a mature manner, a nurturing but firm approach with students, and a desire to share in the joy of learning with children.
Applications are encouraged from those with elementary education experience, in Montessori, classical, traditional, or home school settings. An overview of Montessori philosophy will be provided. lower Elementary classroom assistant

For Elementary Assistants interested in pursuing a Montessori diploma, with a path to becoming an Elementary Lead Guide, partial assistance with Montessori training tuition is available.
Para-educator
part-time (2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR)
Seeking a part-time (10-15 hours per week) paraprofessional to assist students of various ages, both in the classroom environment and via pull-out sessions. Duties will include providing social-emotional learning opportunities, sensory breaks, assistance with executive functioning tasks, and other student guidance as indicated by the school intervention specialist. Applicants should have a love for children, a desire to learn about the Montessori philosophy of education, and be able to assess a situation in order to determine appropriate action. Familiarity with the conscious discipline method is helpful. Candidates should possess an appreciation for the Catholic faith. Physical dexterity (kneeling, sitting on the floor or low chairs, lifting, navigating through a busy classroom, etc.) is necessary to fulfill the job duties. Elementary lead GUIDE
FULL TIME (2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR)
Our Lady's Montessori School plans to open a second Lower Elementary classroom in the 2026-27 school year! We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Guide (Teacher) to serve our growing number of 1st-3rd grade students. We are looking for a mature individual who has a deep love for the Catholic faith, dedication to helping children thrive, organized work habits, ability to multitask, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong candidates will have a solid background in the field of education, experience identifying student special needs, and broad cultural experience. Montessori diploma or in-progress training required. Tuition assistance available.
Candidates who are interested in pursuing Montessori certification are encouraged to consider working as an elementary assistant (see job postings above) in the 2025-26 year while pursuing a Montessori diploma. Partial assistance with Montessori training tuition available.
